Back in the Saddle!

AFP is finally, and thankfully, up and going again. What a freaking disaster of a week (or two)! Ugh! Without minimizing people who deal with actual natural disasters, this problem and subsequent solution has been like if a tornado tearing through a brick-and-morter store. It's been like taking every.single.piece.of.paper in a filing cabinet, taping its hundred little pieces back together and then filing it in the proper place (after recreating all those folders and organization systems, natch).

Anyway, we're moving forward, making headway and starting to get caught up! And that's the exciting part. That means photos and sneak peeks!

But before we get to the photos I absolutely must, MUST, say this. BACK UP YOUR FILES. Back them up now because no matter what operating system you have, eventually the tornado will hit your shope and you'll be sick over everything you lose. It's only due to my obsessive backing up (and backing up again) that I didn't have to call up any of you and say "gee sorry, but I lost all the photos from our session…can we have a 'do-over'?". There's no getting those moments, memories and images back.

Here are 2 VERY long overdue sneak previews for 2 very patient families.

The C Family…hilarious, down-to-earth, stylish and FUN! They had the best sense of humor about their son who (they claim) is giving meaning to the term "terrible 2's". The young R was super social and playful and I could just see how much fun and laughs he's brought to his mom and dad's life.

And then we have the M family…warm, loving, and such amazing parents to their 16 month old, J. He's a curious and playful little one who totally digs the Beatles. Oh, and did I mention they are expecting their 2nd child in February?! Exciting! Two babes under 2 should be no problem for this cool and collected family. Take a peek:
