babes & babies (and then some more babies) | bay area baby photographer

Whew! A crazy couple weeks it has been! I’m way behind in blogging but it’s for a very good reason: I’m getting things to clients faster. Because my volume increases at holiday time, I need to work faster to keep on top of things. So one of the areas I can save time but not give up any quality in images or attention to clients, is to lessen the amount of time I spend blogging. Each blog post is a pretty quick read but there’s a lot that goes on behind the scene to make a post come together (cull through the images from a session, pick out some favs, narrow down the favs, edit and process the favs, resize, sharpen, watermark, put into a collage layout, then write a post that is somewhat legible, post to blog, check for errors, repeat).

So for the next 4-6 weeks, you may see fewer posts around here. But I promise to revisit those sessions come January when things get back to a more relaxed pace. As it is now, I have 6 sessions stacked up that haven’t been blogged. Ouch! There’s no catching up so we’ll just move on ahead.

One thing I did want to share is some images from the Babes & Babies event at the JCCSF on October 24th. It was a huge success! I met so many great moms (and some dads, too), tickled loads of cute babies, ooh-ed and ahh-ed over some pretty delicious baby rolls, and got so many fun smiles and sparkly eyes. The turn out to the event was awesome! Thank you all to all who stopped by for photos, information, candy and bubbles!

Also, putting on my part of the event would NOT have been possible without Appel & Frank (the organizers–hi Jodi and Karen!) and my good friend, Kali Kraum.

A few quick pics of my scene. I wish I had more to share but we were too busy to get much more than this!

admin - Thanks! I'll try to add some shots of my "studio" too at some point. It was cute (though I shoot so close up that it didn't really show in the pictures).

Amber - Hey- there are marketing materials with Henry on them! :) How fun!!! Looks gorgeous - wish we could've stopped by! How are you??

admin - Hey Amber! Yes, your handsome little guy has made it onto a lot of my marketing. So many people love him via my photos! :) I'll send you an email in a bit!
